If you have been infected by the Coronavirus during the course of your employment  then you will have a claim for compensation against your employer. Your employer has a duty of care to ensure that you do not become infected when it is know that the you could be at risk. 



Your Employer's Duty of Care

Since the WHO on the 24/02/2020 declared a 'Public Health Emergency of International Concern' this put every employer in the world on notice that infection was likely and that due care and concern was appropriate to ensure that none of their employees were infected while . If you have contracted the Coronavirus (Covid-19) Infection while preforming the duties of your Coronavirus (Covid-19) Infection while preforming the duties of your employment then your employer will be liable to pay compensation.

Lack Of PPE

If as an essential worker you were made to work without appropriate personal protection equipment (PPE) and subsequently caught the virus then you will be able to claim compensation from your employer.

If You Wish To Claim For a Deceased Family Member

If a member of your family has died from Coronavirus (Covid-19) from which became infected while working then you will be able to claim compensation from the employer.
